I should be able to go. I'm coming from south florida so I hope its worth it. Is the mustang show on Friday basically the same thing as the cruise in on Saturday? If so I'll just head back home on Friday afternoon.

Cool.

I wanted to go to that as well but I also saw that on that night there is the darlington drag races going on and people cruise out to that as well around the same time as the coyote cruise so I'm kinda leaning towards that instead.

I will be going to darlington after the coyote cruise if you want to cruise with us. My dad lives about 5 miles from the track so most of the week we're driving back and forth anyway. We will be staying at dad's Thursday night and riding back over early Friday for the show

Isn't it $15 to race and $10 to spectate?.... I want to run but I don't have a helmet and I don't know if they have rental helmets or not.

I don't remember how much it was last year Allan I think it was 15 but I can't remember for sure. The coyote cruise is ending at long beards grill which is the same place as the svt performance cruise in. Our plan is to eat lunch there at ride over to darlington

I was looking at pictures from the coyote cruise and was thinking hmm, I don't think there is many young people (early 20s) so I was like eh idk if I should go lol. Only reason I say that is because some people I know have said that they have been look down on just because they are young (not referring to the coyote cruise but just meets in general). Personally that has never happened to me, every mustang person I meet has been really cool older or younger than me.

I asked about the helmet because down here in south florida I think it you run a 13.99 or less you need to wear a helmet.

I didn't look at any of the pics from last year's cruise. I'll be at the mall anyway for the Dyno challenge the same guy that tuned mine brings his dyno down and puts that event on. So I agree with you we will see what the crowd looks like that is going on the cruise and go from there

How do they match up the cars. I don't want to go up against a shelby or cobra or new 5.0

Lol you're young too?.. They are not tuning right? It's only a dyno day type of deal to see your hp?.. I have an x pipe that I haven't put on because I want to tune it at the same time but I'm not going to get to do it before next week.

The closest track to me which is an 1/8 they never enforce anything. You can run in the low 8s and they won't tell you to wear a helmet and I know some places won't let you run if you have shorts or whatever you need to be wearing pants and shoes no sandals or whatever.

Last year 5.0 mustang magazine put together a battle at the beach dyno challenge which was 10 of the baddest cars there gets on the dyno and see who makes the most power. The shop that tuned my car has a mobile dyno they bring down to mustang week. Its a preety cool thing to watch some rides throw down some serious power. Plus it is at the mall where all the cruises leave from anyway. Last year me and the wifey watched some dynos then just walked around the parking lot and looked at cars and rode over to Darlington

Oh sorry I was directing that towards mike.. I couldn't see the pictures that you posted when you mentioned the oil change, wait did you post a picture? On my phone after your question mark a small square appeared as if a picture was suppose to be there.

Yes red mustang registry, either of you guys in that?

All that matters is that you have fun doesn't matter if it's fast or slow.
