There is no phone number that I can find for the museum so I guess they are just gonna be surprised by our crowd. Btw, the membership prices are up on their website if you are wanting to become a patron.

Chime in here if you plan on joining us for a trip to the Cobra museum in Martinez on 2/15/15
A handful of cars from Norcalsvtoa and Mid Valley Stangs will be attending as well. Be nice to go as one big group.

The Cobra Experience - Home

The schedule is:

10:00

SAC AREA meet spot will be the Chevron right off 80 and Enterprise blvd.
Address is 4800 W Capitol Ave, West Sacramento, CA 95691. We will be meeting at 10, leaving at 1030.

11:00
Meet up at The Shell Station on the corner of foothill and Dublin Blvd.
11891 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, Ca.

11:30
Leave for Sun Valley Mall.

12:00
Arrive at Sunvalley mall
Address is 1 Sunvalley Mall, Concord, ca.
There is a Fresh Mex/Sears right on the corner
of contra Costa Blvd/Willow pass road (lower level). Turn in there.

Once everyone has arrived and had a chance to meet we leave for The Cobra Experience. Its about a 10 min. ride.

I drove the route sunday and there is a drive way right across from a dentist office that isn't too steep.
It comes up quick so watch for the dentist office on the right and turn left into the driveway across the street.
Driveways further down get progressively steeper, so if you have a concern-use the first one.

The address is:
The Cobra Experience
777 Arnold Drive, Suite 200, Martinez, ca.
Its way in the back down a little hill. Looks like a really nice facility

Yeah, I read it too but it probably Only makes around 300/350 wheel hp which is not what I would call a neck breaker....

With that body I bet the drag co. is absolutely terrible. And the weight gain is probably outrageous. It's probably slower than a stock one...

Um, that's not really a hard job....
But I guess try a local muffler shop.
You can do it, just need some basic hand tools and an extra pair of hands, and you're good...

I can't decide to call it the ricer special or the Joe Dirt special either way it's one of the tackiest Mustangs I've ever seen.

I have no tools whatsoever lol. That's on my list of things to pick up tomorrow actually, a nice tool set.

I was thinking that was a harder job, I'll probably still check around but if not I'll try it out next week

Lol.
It's not easy! Not on these cars.

What city do you live in 510?
When Fabman sees this post, he'll probably be able to recommend someone.

I'm in San Pablo. I can pretty much travel wherever but I'd prefer to keep it local more so.

Don't get me wrong, it is doable, but you will need a hell of a lot more than a Harbor Freight tool set. Like a couple of floor jacks, jack stands, etc.

Only certain ones are approved...make sure you get shorties with an EO# tag or they won't pass.

What about a craftsman tool set yeah I figured it would a good amount of work to it. Don't really wanna get involved with that without the proper set up
