San Ramon.
We grab some burgers at In@Out, take up most of their parking spots with our Mustangs, then cruise around Danville and act like we have some money left after spending it all on our cars. Then, we cap it all off by driving up to the Blackhawk Automobile Museum and viewing some beautiful antique European autos.

I didn't mean cruise in Livermore, I meant that just as a starting place. But no matter, what's your suggestion then? Somewhere around Livermore is ideal for me, but I can drive up to Mt. Diablo or wherever that's closer; really just something that's not too dense (open spaces are a plus).

Heh. Sounds like a plan as long as we aren't loud, obnoxious ****** bags. I'm usually against that anyway, but I have family and friends in Danville so I'm even more against it (though I assume cruising doesn't mean being loud an obnoxious to all of you).
EDIT:
also as a side note, do some of you actually spend most of your money on your cars, or were you joking?

I'm up in Fairfield, but I'll drive down to that neck of the woods given enough notice to plan. I'm actually taking mine for her first oil change in Walnut Creek on Wednesday. I'm sure you guys have it covered, but just make sure its in a safe area - I know there are plenty of places in the greater oakland/east bay area that you are bound to get shot sooner than you can finish your In-and-Out!
I might head up for the Discovery Park event - I haven't taken my car to a show yet.

No need to worry about safety in Danville/San Ramon/Walnut Creek etc. I think we're all solid on that front.
Also, I added you to the map.

My car has the stock exhaust.
Lol.
No. It's probably not a good idea to roll into town like Marlon Brando in "The Wild Ones". (Haha. For you biker fans!)
Naw we just cruise around a bit. People do it all of the time. I lived there, on and off, for a while. There are all sorts of old guys cruising around in vettes and some badass old hot rods.

Sounds good. I'm definitely up for it then. Regarding the references, see also the Harley Davidson South Park episode.

I think it's around 7-10 people that expressed interest. Now who is actually going depends heavily on the time I would imagine. I'm actually free this weekend, but I don't know that we decided on a date yet.

Believe it or not, cruising around Oakland actually ain't too bad. Surprisingly big car scene in Oakland. Just stay in a pack.

Well is anyone available this weekend? I'm going to be a metal concert Friday night, but Saturday is wide open for me. We could also push it out if people aren't available.

Jelly Belly factory. Then get on the 12 and drive toward Stockton ... playing last man up at each of the passing zones!

I usually leave work like 6:30 to 7 M-F, so it's pretty much not happening for me unless we do it after like 8PM on a Friday (or during the weekend). Depending on how many people we get, we can also do smaller gatherings, etc. It's never going to happen if every single person has to be there. We need to see what everyone's availability is and go from there.

Aside from the one person who already said they aren't, is everyone available on the weekends? We can do Friday nights, but that doesn't really leave a whole lot of time. Saturday or Sunday afternoons (I know someone had a problem w/ Sunday) would give us the most time.

Which brings me to my original question. Is anyone available this weekend? We could do the Jelly Belly thing or San Ramon/Car Museum.

Not sure if I'll enter. I just upgraded to a GT from a v6 so it's pretty close to stock for the moment. If I settle on which wheels I want by then I might enter.

I'm available most anytime, except for when I'm not.
If you guys can come up with a day and a time that most of us are free, I'll do my best to make it a point to attend.

I'm a night owl so I can do most nights any day from 10 PM till 1 AM. If we were to do day time, I'm free on Saturday afternoons or Sundays anytime.
I'll keep everyone posted if my schedule changes. As for the location, it seems that Danville/San Ramon is the center of where most of us are at which I'm ok with meeting around there.
And yes I am free this weekend, hopefully we get enough people to participate

Well it's 2-2 for this weekend (can make it/can't), so that's probably not a good idea. Unless we get more people saying they're free, we're probably better off to wait until everyone else's cars are back in action.

Anyone else available this weekend? 3 is enough IMO, but it would be awesome to get more people. I'm assuming we'd meet late Saturday morning.

Saturday mornings are soccer games for me until December; this weekend just happens to be a late start so I won't even be done with it until 12:30.
