Texas Stangs

I know there's a lot of ME members from Texas but can't seem to find a thread just for our great state Other than those; San Antonio, Houston, etc etc threads.
So I decided to broaden it up a little and see where in Texas you guys/gals are from; and maybe get together sometime and do a cruise or something? Any ideas welcomed!

So with that said, where are those Texas stangs?!? Where are you located?

I'm in Donna, Tx; if you don't know where it is Google it haha (hint it's in south Tx)

P.S. Yes I'm aware it's a big state, but I think this thread will be good to know where meets, cruises, events, etc are taking place. And best of all, to get to know each other and where we are located in this beautiful state.

You all are still a-ways lol.

Rap: Yes I am, literally live like 20 min away from the border.
This summer I was close to you guys! I was in San Antonio for a few then few weeks later went to Palmetto State Park for a couple days also, between Luling and Gonzales, visited the towns while I was over there; nice little towns and the state park was nice!

I been trying to go to New Braunfels since last fall lol, heard there's some type of annual festival over there, around this time I believe?

Cool. But I don't think that's the one. My Texas history professor, said they had a festival were there was sausage, different kind of beers (I believe German), etc. If I recall a tribute to sausage? Lol. Seems likes fun. Is this the same one you mentioned or a different one?

Yeah, I saw your thread and pretty much other threads relating to a specific area around in Texas. And I decided to open up a thread for the whole state, maybe find people visiting or w/e to one's area or close by that want to get together. I hope this thread works

Btw have never heard of Blackwell

Just a blip on the map. About 180-200 people. I live north a few miles on the ranch. Fun place to run the 5.0 free.

You have no idea what the stars look like out here until you see them. The meteor showers are amazing. Behind the house where the shooting range is is about a 200 foot tall hill. I want a nice telescope. I think I could really get into the. They're a bit pricey though and so much to do to my Stang. That's my Boss 302 exhaust and Roush Axlebacks. Can definitley see the hogs to pop though.

Oh I can just imagine! I live on what its said the "country side" of my town/city not many lights so I get to see a better amount of stars than others, shooting stars, meteor showers (barely visible) but I can bet it's nothing compared to that side of Texas. There's a drive in theater nearby, sometimes I go, if the movie isn't any good I just look at the stars haha; it's a marvelous view. I believe that section of Texas, where your from, is known as the "black hole" or somewhere nearby. When I was younger I used to have a telescope (one of those affordable ones) I would search for the planets and look at the moon every weekend. Can't recall what happened to it lol.

Sounds like you will have plenty of time to see all the special spots. Take a canoe trip through the canyon. I'm sure you will enjoy it but for future plans, try going in April. That place is a super rainbow of colors when all the cacti are in bloom. Enjoy.
