12GT,
we'll post later but a bunch of us convoy up from CT. It makes the dull part kinda interesting and gives out extra eyes for LEO's (at the expense of making us kinda obvious)

If I am counting correctly, we now have a total of 20 cars confirmed from multiple forums. 10 of those cars are from CT so it should be an impressive convoy.

We're going to have enough cars that when it's your turn in the way back after blocking intersections you're gonna want a walkie-talkie. Go buy a set they are are fairly cheap and a good way to stay in contact.

You are going to want to catch up with us in Hartford. Mud will publish the time schedule when the date gets closer. There are usually 4 or 5 others at that meeting place. Looking forward to meeting you.

Rob

You'll have a good time (well, if you like driving) you can look through RoboStangs and my threads from this and the other forum mentioned on page 1 to see threads from other ones we've run. We've been doing these for a while and try and do 3 per year. They are a fun ride of back roads at a decent clip (neither insane or slow) and normally have a lunch stop or picnic. This one will be a longer ride as we are doing a 140 mile loop but the driving won't be as demanding as the last CT one.

Look for that CT route to come up again next year....Club Leader Mud liked that route

Doesn't he have it Pro-Charged right now? I thought he sold it a little while back...hmm, Well hes selling off all his parts and going to sell his car soon. Wants an STI or something good in winter. Sadly he wont be able to take it as far (power wise) as the V6. The STIs start having engine issues around 380whp and in the AWD format would still be hard to achieve, but damn that would be a fun car to drive around none the less.

Exclamation Start Time and Location!

Drivers,

Cruise Start Time:

Saturday Oct 24th (rain date Sunday the 25th) at 10:30 AM

Note earlier start time as we have decided the on the longer ride of 140 miles.......

Place:

The Whately Diner/Truck Stop (exit 24 of I-91)

372 State Rd
Whately MA
01093

Only three weeks away I'm looking forward to it. I've made some changes to the route to try and improve it hope you folks like it. As I mentioned earlier I don't post the route but it is similar to earlier ones with but with some nice new roads. Reminder if you send either Rob or me your email we'll add your name to the private invite list and of course we don't spam you or share your address.

reminder: you'll want to have over a 1/2 tank of gas before we start and there is a gas station there.

just sayin

we've got about 25 cars who say they're coming so consider buying walkie talkies as this will be the biggest group so far.

Great food and parking (parking becomes an issue when we have that many cars) mediocre service but you'll be sitting with friends.

fyi the count is at 27 cars

Db, we will be posting the CT meeting times but you can plan on the locations being the Cromwell, Hartford and Enfield exits off of I91.

If everyone shows up (and from past experience most do) we may be around 30 cars.....

A wise leader would be a bit concerned about leading that many cars but once I started getting more than I could easily count I stopped worrying if everyone that started finished.

and yes, we had to stop once mid-cruise so someone could fill up......

Cool...I can meet you guys there too and will PM shortly.

My repairs/mods are all done, too, in time for the cruise! If anybody needs an OEM V6 hood (some paint bubbling but no collision damage), hit me up!
