we do hit the Mohawk Trail but this ride does not have any parts that are as technical as the CT cruise. This one will be more 4th gear sweepers as compared to the real tight sections of the last one. You will have to pay attention but these roads are a bit easier. That being said; a reminder:

These rides are at your own risk!

^And when the new guys wreck, we can strip parts off their cars, right? I'm packing my toolbox.

Exclamation CT Meet Places

here are meeting places and times for those who want to join in a CT convoy up I-91. Note: earlier times from previous rides

Cromwell CT: Exit 21 Rte 372 at 8:00
Krauszer's Market 117 Berlin Rd. Cromwell

20 minutes to

Hartford CT exit 27 (Brainard Rd) at 8:30
Shell gas station/Dunkin Donuts 131 Brainard Rd Hartford

20 minutes to

Enfield CT exit 48 (Rte 220/Elm st) at 9:00
Kohls parking lot 97 Elm St Enfield between McD’s and DD’s

40 minutes to

Whately Truck Stop Exit 24
372 State Rd
Whately MA

Cruise starts from the truck stop promptly @ 10:30

these times are when I plan on leaving those locations so if you want to join us get to the spots before those times. It does make the boring part better. I think we had over 10 cars in the CT convoy last time.

Anyone coming out of Framingham or East of the 495 we will be meeting at the Westborough Rest Stop, Mass Pike I-90 Westbound at 8:00am and leave at 8:30am

Going to have a fun mini cruise before the big cruise. Should only take us 1.5 hrs to get to the rest stop from there

Well we could make it interesting and leave the rest stop at 9:30 and see how long it takes us to get there before they leave for the cruise

Become a supporter of the Arts!

I'm asking for a favor for people that are coming. I am looking for springs that folks took off when they upgraded from the 4x4 look and are no longer being used. Instead of just having them sit around your garage would you like to donate them to me? You know you are not putting the OEM's back on and the market for used springs ain't what it used to be. I have an Art Project in mind and I'm looking for free springs.

plz

Looking forward to this!

Just wanted to check and see if the approx end time would still be around 3:30 or so. A friend asked me over to dinner, so I want to make sure I can get there in time. Alternatively, we could all continue the cruise to his house...he's screening Back to the Future II and I'm sure he won't mind an extra 25-30 cars showing up...

We are starting earlier so the end time should be about the same. However the time needed to serve lunch to 40 people should prove to be interesting for the 6 House.

if my guess is correct 3:30-4:00.

I am susceptible to peer pressure and can be easily egged on to "drive faster"

if you miss this to watch Back to the Future II..........

The drivetrain shop will be installing the Mr. Fusion on my 'stang early next week. I wanted them to have it ready for the cruise so I could dump stale beer and garbage in it so I wouldn't need to gas up.

Less than a week to go. The weather is looking good for Saturday. Sunny and in the mid 50s. Glad I swapped out those summer tires. Still looks like 30 + cars. Don't forget those Walkie talkies. If you don't have some you just might want to pick some up. It's going to be a long way from the front to the back of the pack and we sure don't want to lose anyone!

The guys in front get to do some blocking and end up in the back. Kinda like musical chairs.

side note: washing/waxing my neighbors Forester today (Bday gift to her) and for about one or two minutes we had snow/sleet/frozen something falling from the sky.

PA is close enough to invite your wife on a wknd in New England....stay two nights somehwere nice (think of it as welcome to USA wknd for becoming a citizen) and take the afternoon to go far a nice ride then she gets to pick something she wants to do. Early forecast is for beautiful weather.

added bonus. And unlike the last CT run the driver will be able to look at it.

Gonna be any photo stops at all? Or just drive troughs with the pre-determined stops set for pics?
