Told my boss I'm off July 16th and I'm all set to go.. Hopefully it doesn't rain since I'm working the next day.. See Jim (mud) and Robostang I'll do anything for the cruise, that would have been mod money lol..

Great. You just can't mod it and let it sit in the garage you know. You have to drive it the way it was meant to be driven....on our cruises!!!

The Summer Cruise is 3 just weeks away! Just a reminder to go out and buy those walkie-talkies. You will be glad that you did.

I'm not going to going to make it for this one, picking up my son in Rhode Island from wrestling camp. Maybe number three in the fall?

we'll be doing a Fall run in MA (date TBD). That route the driver has some time to look around but it still has plenty of curvy roads.

Those that joined us for the Spring Cruise know that it is a blast. It is a narrow twisty route with elevation changes so you have to pay attention.

We are working on the lunch location. (Not likely that it will be the same place as the Spring Cruise). Those of you that have joined us in the past know that we set a decent but not insane pace and it's a hoot to go for a nice ride with a group of friends. If you missed the Spring Cruise, this is your chance to get in on the fun.

We had 17 cars on the last one and it was great lets get together and drive these cars like they were meant to be driven!

Reminder: These are at your own risk!

lets go and have some fun

Mud
Wish I could make this one but will be on vacation, have a great time.

Welp, I was going to come to the cruise with two new tires on the front, but as I just had a rear blowout driving to a different office for a meeting, it'll be four new tires. Friggin' construction.

So my pre-cruise week is a bit compressed. New rear tires will probably go on Sat and then Mon I'm dropping off the car to have the rear bumper repainted for the 400th time as people keep hitting me.

If I can get everything buttoned up by end of Thurs the 14th, I'll be there. Fri I work well past close of the shops and Sat AM would probably cut it too close to make the start of the cruise (though I could join for lunch).

J,

oil change = 2 hrs counting going to get the stuff and milking it or having it done at slow lube. They're not bald they are special race tread.

T,

You don't need a back bumper.

and from another forum I'm on.

You guys are letting the low man on the totem pole at the dealer do your oil change? You're brave.

I'm old school and would do my 1st change b4 2k...what I did is 1k (semi-syn) again at 4k (semi-syn) then I've kept it at time based 9 months full syn.

you'll see lots of opinions but I doubt there will be any proof whatever you do maters except check it often and change it when the OLM tells you to.

old and cheap

Oil change party at Rob's house!

Probably not as exciting as the *boom-hiss* blowout I had today, but that's fine by me.

LOL. Joking aside, brakes are easy enough to do in a driveway with a floor jack.

When I eventually replace the clapped out front LCAs, though, I'll probably want to have the thing on a lift.
