Smile New England Summer Cruise 2016

RoboStang and I are pleased to announce the New England Summer Cruise date has been set. Saturday July 16th (rain date Sunday 17th). Stay tuned here for details. We will be doing the CT route again. Those that joined us for the Spring Cruise know that it is a blast. It is a narrow twisty route with elevation changes so you have to pay attention.

We are working on the lunch location. (Not likely that it will be the same place as the Spring Cruise). Those of you that have joined us in the past know that we set a decent but not insane pace and it's a hoot to go for a nice ride with a group of friends. If you missed the Spring Cruise, this is your chance to get in on the fun.

We had 17 cars on the last one and it was great lets get together and drive these cars like they were meant to be driven!

Reminder: These are at your own risk!

lets go and have some fun

Mud

off topic post:

One disadvantage of lowering my car is it no longer clears dead raccoons.

Yay! More peeps!

Just finished my shock/strut upgrade last weekend--can't wait to put those Koni yellows through their paces for some break-in.

Tym, you have to skip the weddings.

You also missed watching the waitress take 30 minutes to serve drinks to our group one flavor at a time. She did bring water out right away although glasses would have been helpful.

I know right? He's already been looking.
And I actually encountered a fellow Mustang buddy today on my lunch break... he has a 2016 California Edition GT. AND he also has a Shelby GT500 at home... lol

Bring him along. And if he needs someone to drive that Shelby......just saying. He can't drive both.

I know right..he stopped me as I was walking back to my car. He asked me if I like my Mustang. I was like "hell yea I do!" and then he pointed to his GT across the parking lot. My jaw dropped haha

One cool thing about having an iconic car is you'll meet a bunch of friends. We may not all vote/look/pray the same but we can have fun together.

Exclamation the details!

Meeting place/time:

Staples:
900 Washington St (Rte 66), Middletown, CT 06457

Saturday July 16th 10:00 with a rain date of Sunday July 17th

this is exit 18 (I-91 CT) if you are northbound but exit 20 for southbound folks....look at the map there is a little zigging (Country Club to Higby to Washington) to get here if you are heading south on 91. It isn't hard but look. It will be easy on from cruise end back to 91. I'll also warn that folks who get off 91 directly onto Rte 66 to watch your speeds.

Plz park on the street side of Staples as we'll be going out with a right onto Washington St (Rte 66). Cruise start time is at 10:00 am I'll suggest getting there early for meet & greet. There is a real good diner Athenian Dinner (except for their home fries) in this plaza as well as a McD's next door for those who want breakfast.

Start time is at 10:00 as while we will stop for a short break during the cruise we will be having lunch back at the diner after the cruise. This is in part due to the service we got at the Town Tavern last time even when they knew we were coming....

Walkie Talkies and Gas are two things you are going to want
