It is time for RoboStang and I to announce the date of the next ride. We are running this one on Saturday Nov 5th (rain date of Sunday the 6th) in Massachusetts. I have a nice route of mostly 4th gear sweepers and we would like you all to come with us for a ride. This route is not as technical as the CT one but it is fun with secluded back roads and a beautiful section of the Mohawk Trail. We will be posting up details later but folks that have been on the MA route before you should know what to expect. If you have not been on a ride with us you can expect 100+ miles of fun with a bunch of Mustangs. We set a rapid but not insane pace but know you are participating at your own risk. We will be going for a spirited ride on two lane blacktop. This is why I bought my car so join us and have some fun. You can look for some of my other threads or hopefully someone that has links can post up pics/videos of previous rides.
The standard rules apply: If you end up off the road, arrested, hit by a fellow driver (or irate outsider) etc it is not our responsibility, instead we get to strip any salvageable parts off your car and post videos of it on YouTube.
Damn! I was hoping Fall cruise would be in October. Didn't want to announce this over the forum, but I'll be leaving Massachusetts for good end of October. I'll be moving to Denver. I've had a great time getting to know some of you guys and these cruises have been the best of any car "club" I've been apart of. I hope there's a group out there just as cool as all of you.
Dude will definitely miss you here, hopefully youll find a club as good as here.. But iv heard there's some nice driving roads in Denver.. Im in the save vote too I'll be moving to Florida if everything goes well with the interview maybe the end of next month..
If I remember correctly (I will look at route before we go) this run is about 140 miles long. It is not as narrow and twisty as the CT route but it does have a bunch of nice roads that don't tend to have much traffic. Yeah, it is a longer ride but nowhere near as intense as the CT route...think 4th gear sweepers.
Just the regular GM HE I distributor. It's just 25 years old and sort of rusty. I'm surprised it has work this long. Someone else already change the pick up coil once and didn't install that one correctly. At least it runs well again
I don't think so. I mean he will get his car fixed on my insurance but I had liability only on mine so im paying out of pocket. **** happens. But this think will be nice for the spring run. I'll have to do a thread on it since it's no longer a surprise for you guys
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
