Re: family?

We have some of them on a multitude of Mustang Forums as well.

They are everywhere.

Basic respect in this world is devolving.

Re: family?

I've noticed not many people will respond to a common "hello" rev and a lot of the owners around here are more interested in talking smack or slamming other owners instead of just hanging out and spending time with fellow enthusiasts.

I did do the fly by your talking about once after some ****** in a "Jack Roush" mustang refused to even acknowledge my wave. I did it under the over pass to just for added volume.

Re: family?

I've noticed, well at least up here by me, that the other v6 owners are ********, and the GT/cobra guys are decent. Maybe its because they think mine is a v8, idk :dunno:

I've had a couple of cobra owners wave/compliment me on my stang and its sound, and they had to know it was a v6.

Some F-body owners on the other hand...lets not even go there

Those are the Honda/Import groups around here and most of them are retarded.

As for Mustang owners I think it's a 50/50 shot, I've met ******** and I've met cool dudes. I think you just gotta' put yourself out there and be true to be liked. Don't be a cock(y) owner because you think your Mustang is faster then all others, and those that are are usually shunned by the majority of people.

Yea like that C5 Vette owner that flipped me off yesterday because I was begging to give him a run. Then he proceeds to slam on his brakes while I'm on his ***. BOY I WAS PISSED. Even waved the little pistol around at him.

I take personal offense on that one bub. I don't care what kinda stang you prefer or drive around I'll be the first one to give you a nod, wave, or friendly rev. There are pricks driving all types plain and simple. I've got a Roush BlackJack running around out here that flips off anyone driving a mustang. I returned the favor when he was broken down about a month ago. Maybe if you stopped stereotyping you'd find yourself meeting more that are willing to change your mind

Re: family?

going to all ford car shows generally brings out the best in mustang owners. nearly everyone I talked to at the 45th was nice and we had good conversations with them. The people you dont see going to events like this and such are the ones that usually seem to be putting down others and all that~ but there are all different types that own mustangs~

I generally dont rev at other cars as thats something that can either be a "hello" or "lets race" or what not~ you cant assume the other driver knows wtf you mean

Yah I'm gonna back him up on this one. Not everyone who drives a S197 or fox is an *******. I've gotten compliments and had conversations from guys with both body styles.

As stated many times before, there are dicks everywhere, plain and simple.

No prob, just be careful when you use a blanket statement such as everyone who owns a s197 or fox. I try to respect anyone who has a healthy love of anything auto. I may not prefer GM products but that's my decision, I won't fault anyone for whatever they like. But every car club has their bad apples and their standup guys. I used to get frustrated by the ******** but now find it easier to ignore them. That pisses them off more than anything.
