transmission problem..2006 v6

just purchased 2006 mustang...after a week got in the car,put it in gear and the car won't move..what kind of problem does this sound like?

Sounds like you have an auto transmission with no fluid in it. Either a leak or excessively low fluid level from the factory... If it worked for a week I'd say leak. You bottom it out recently, or hit something in the road to put a hole in the tranny pan?

SORRY i DIDN'T GIVE ENOUGH INFO..BOUGHT THE CAR USED WITH 38000 MILES ON IT...ITS A 5 SPEED...HAD IT A WEEK AND THE CLUTCH WENT OUT..HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS BEING A HISTORY PROBLEM WITH THE MUSTANG?

You sure the clutch is worn out? Not the cable or quad is broken? It is very possible to burn a clutch up quickly. If you try to or can't drive a stick. I have seen clutches go in 5000 miles
