Anyone seen these in person?

Smooth Line: Hardtop: Mustang 1994-2004 Anyone ever seen one of these in person? I really like them, just wish they had the full rear window (for louvers).

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

That one doesn't look too bad. The lines aren't as smooth as the stock hardtop coupe.
I've seen an aftermarked top that was exactly like the coupe that bolted right up also...maybe google search it

Been searching like crazy for what your talking about, only thing i can find is the smooth line stuff. Was this a one-off someone made, or production piece?

None the less, thanx for the tip. I also feel like the lines could be better on this top and maybe make the seams not so noticable. But for $1500, it could give you the best of both worlds.(what i want, lol)

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

I remember seeing it on a mustang site years ago. I think it was a small custom company that made them. They probably aren't even around anymore.

But like you said, you get the best of both worlds, so go for it, I'd like to see how it looks if you decide to get it.

But then remember, $1500 is a lot of money, that could go towards some serious performance parts...

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

Thats my issue right there. $1500 could get me cai, exhaust, gears and t-loc. Or could be money towards a 99+ wich i like the body's better. On a side note i picked up some old school aluminum slots today. My brother had them left over from when he was building his 73 mach. 15x9 and 15x10 At a really good price. FREE

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

interesting, i like the idea but... the rear window needs to be bigger like the coupe, it looks very out of place being so little... that would be #1 in the need to redesign list to make it look 100000000x better

another thing is the side windows, i would rather have them like stock, it would be VERY easy to do those two things would take this from a nice idea to an amazing product

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

i agree with you on the back window. but i prefer the side window like it is. More like the 05+ But I also prefer the 05+ if i can't have a 69-70

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

yup. my dream car. First car i ever fell in love with was a 69. I was 11 years old and my dad had one sitting in the back yard. Dark forest green color with the "lip" style rear spoiler with "Crazy Horse" written on it. Had a 351C with 4V heads, 4 bolt main, holley 750, vaccuum secondaries, C6 auto trans. 9 inch rear, short headers with side pipes that would rattle the 2 story house next door Original Boss 302 hoodscoop. The old style steel mags. That was the day i figured out what an orgasm was

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

unfortunately no I would have pryed it from his hands by now. He's got an 06 now, because of the many similarities to the 69. He's got louvers and quarter louvers on it too, just like the 69. He's trying to find the honeycomb back panel for less than $150, then he'll have one of them too. Or trying to find someone that sells just a sheet of it, to make his own.

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

the side windows are 05+ style but they belong on 05+ style cars as well, not the 94-04~ the fit isnt right

Re: Anyone seen these in person?

^^^Yah I agree. I wish I could remember where I saw the other "snap on" hardtop, it had the 99-04 side windows.
