Re: trade offer

there have been thousands of v8 swaps into 4 bangers, its not as cheap as you think but its not hard. If the car is CLEAN and not all beat to hell, no frame damage, etc then I would consider it if the values match up

Re: trade offer

What type of Camaro do you have? What year? I don't know that I'd trade an LT1 for a 4-cylinder, regardless of what brand of 4-cylinder it is. With what you'd spend on swapping the Mustang to a V-8, you could do a lot of work to the Camaro to make it into what you want. Just my opinion, but then I've always been a Camaro fan...

Re: trade offer

I don't think so. Anyway, if the RS is really that tired, then do what you must. What would really be a neat project would be to rebuild the LT1 and drop it into the 4-banger 'Stang!

Re: trade offer

So wait...

You hate mixing brands but are willing to drop a Toyota engine in the fox instead of the LT1?

Hell even I'll admit GM engines in foxbodies is an awesome combo.

LSX block, big single turbo, 150 wet shot off the line, gutted notch, powerglide, 9" with mini-tubs, 28x10.5 slicks = one fast sob
