pc interface kit

im sure ive said it before. but kinda new in the performance area. always had 4cyl. but im lookin at the Diablo sport preditor PC interface kit. now does that need a tuner to go with that? or does that act as the tuner throiugh your computer? because im geting mix ideas on it. one way makes it sound like you need the tuner the other makes it sound as if your PC is the tuner.

Hrm....I think it's like data logging with the X3. You have to have the tuner and/or a printer cable to hook from the laptop to the tuner. But of course, I'm probably wrong.

Re: pc interface kit

yea im not sure on that one either, I know in my case I have an SCT X Cal 3 and I hook it up to my laptop and then plug it into the car's diagnostic port. I can then start the SCT software and BAM its data logging, quite easy. I can see all kinda of stuff (view my article on how to data log with your sct tuner for screen shots in the articles section of this forum)

Thats probably the easiest way... its not like the average person has a clue how to tune their own car anyway~ bamachips.com makes GREAT SCT tunes for your year GT.

Re: pc interface kit

Matter of fact that's what you'll have to do. I just have got my tuner and it came with the program, so yeah, you'll have to get a tuner no way around it.

Re: pc interface kit

better sooner than later. springs on it way and the track will be opening soon. tryin to get ready for it. is it possible to stand it up on two wheels? obviously its goin to take more than a tuner. but ive watched a lot of drag races and havnt seen one do it yet. even though i fight with my lady about it thats my goal.
