mustang in the body shop

Well I few weeks back my wife got rear ended at a red light. She was hit hard enough that she was pushed into the back of the truck in front of her, the bumper skins where the only thing damaged. The good things are that they made the girl that hit her 100% at fault, so she is paying for the front and rear damage.

the other good thing is that when we bought the car it was a dealer trade from Texas, so it had holes in the front bumper when I got it. They are replacing the front bumper, so no more holes, and I can finally have the stripes added to the front bumper.

Another crazy thing. I went to the body shop today. They showed me that when they built the car at the factory they must have had a problem getting the rear bumper cover to fit the car. so they put a screw through the corner of the bumper by the bottom right corner of the pass. taillight. They could me they will correct this problem even if they have to replace more parts.

I picked this shop because I know the body man there. So far they have been awesome. We will see the finished product looks like before I send anyone else there.

Should have has them order the Cali bumpers you wanted.

But that sucks man. I'm betting a cell phone was involved like in my case a few months back.

Re: mustang in the body shop

the cali bumper probably costs the same, or would take a little out of pocket to upgrade to.

Sorry to hear that, but you are going to get some things fixed you needed so that is good. I was coming to work this morning up Petes Hwy. and a woman in a SUV was on my bumper, I keep slowing down and when I reach 20 mph she finally backed off.

I do not like tailgater's.

Well, glad to hear your wife's okay, and also glad to hear the car will be coming back better than before.

Always good to have an awesome body shop...makes all the difference.

Did you get the car back yesterday? If so, what are your opinions of the place?

Me either! That's why I have my brake light say "Kiss This" when I hit the brakes.

But damn, that sucks. I'm glad she's ok and that the Stang will be okay too!
