finally we have started the resto

hey guys we have put the wheels in motion... ordered the headers h pipe cold air kit pullys rear gear short throw shifter wheels and tires valve covers put money down to get painted set up time for new top and seats and got trunk lid and oem spoiler to get rid of that luggage rack and looking at a new sound system our 92 will get new red paint with clear on it this time and a new white top with all the black trim painted and our letters done in white paint this car has been parked 6 years covered in my parents basement wife bought it new in june 92 and just has alil over 40000 miles on it the only down fall it just won't start but that will get done next month been way to long since we drove it and we can't wait till next spring when its 100% done was going to buy an 08 but why not just fix ours i still luv the foxbodys

Very cool. I need to get a new top for our 90 and fix the two clearcoat spots and it'll be done...

i'm about 95% sure red was the only color ford did not clear coat in 92 and in 93 all colors was cleared its been so long since we drove it we can't wait lol

Wow that's a diamond in rough. I would do the same thing and I'm sure your in laws were excited to get it out of their basement. You could get the 08 with the left over funds. Never hurts to have two Mustangs.

its my moms house so i could leave it there forever and she won't mind i have a 73 mercury montego in a garage i built out back of their house that she bought in 73 with only 56000 miles on it same colors as out gt red w/white top and white interior its going to be a long winter waiting to get everything done but spring will be a big payoff for us when we roll it out pics will follow as we start moving forward
