Re: problem :/

Time to take it apart or take it in for service.

Re: problem :/

are you sure it is the button getting stuck? I had a problem with the wiring for my brakes...they actually started to erode and some wires were touching others and it made the car think it was always in park, even after i turned it on--thus making the button feel as if it was stuck, but in reality it was the wires going bad...might want to get that checked out as well.

Ya, I second the take-it-apart suggestion. I do not believe you can buy the parts separately from Ford, but it may not be a big deal once you tear into it. Might be a simple cleaning and a little graphite power to keep it all loose. A boneyard might also get you out of trouble for short money as well.

Here's a link to a decent overview for your tranny: Ford Service Manuals - SECTION 307-05 [Automatic TransaxleTransmission External Controls]
