Re: 500K

Thats what oil I use, It is the best better that royal purple and cheaper around here. The PENETRO 90 spray lube is the best if you buy a can you will never buy wd40 or anything else. I've seen motors that were locked up from sitting with water in them get freed up with the spray and start and run just fine. I wouldn't suggest running over 7 or 8000 miles without changing the oil but I do know of one engine a guy has that has about 90,000 on it with one oil change with Schaeffer and still running strong and its diesel.

The only down fall is that if there is no place around you that sells the oil then you have to order straight from Schaeffer and they have a $300 dollar minimum order

Re: 500K

the problem I see with no oil changes is simple, oil gets dirty regardless of what oil you use, you will get metal shavings, etc etc and its in the filter so its good to change the oil from time to time regardless of how good it is, not due to the oil itself but to what got in it.

True I'm not saying don't change your oil, its just i've seen with my own eyes a motor that still runs good on one oil change. Its something you pretty much have to see with your own eyes. But I'm dead serious on the spray lube its the best.
