i love mine, but it depends if you have an automatic or not...for an auto i would say definately. it makes a huge difference. it also adds a noticeable amt of hp, but not a lot. ur gonna want one eventually if u plan to do more mods too. i would say yes, but thats just my opinion.

Re: Is the sct programmer worth buying.

its ALL about the tune file that the SCT uses. I feel SCT is the best currently on the market for many reasons but ist 100% useless if the tune isnt a good one. You cant just order a tuner and get a perfect tune, each vehicle differs and the ones they send you by default suck compared to ones tunes have modified etc etc over time for your vehicle so make sure to get one and the tuner from a good location.

I got an SCT tuner with Bama Tunes for life and I cant begin to tell you the difference it has made. The car seems to be running well with no issues and feels sooooo much stronger!

Re: Is the sct programmer worth buying.

the guy that wrote all of the tunes for Bamachips sold out and no longer has anything to do with them as far as I know, I just wonder who wrote the tunes for the 2011 V6 and Gt and if they are as good as the previous ones~

Re: Is the sct programmer worth buying.

SCT has WAAY more associate shops around the country that can dyno tune your car. SCT is far more flexible than Diablo, and they are more willing to help when something goes wrong.
