HP Tuners?

I have my 03 Cobra and it seems that it would be beneficial to have my own software to adjust tuning as the weather changes here in MI. There are a bunch out there but what I have gathered so far is that the HP and Sniper programs are the more popular. See links below!!

Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on this topic?
HP:
HPTuners.com >> Performance At Your Fingertips
Sniper:
Sniper Tuning Special Forces Software - GAS 96-04 V8 4.6L MUSTANGS-COBRAS

Regards,

Re: HP Tuners?

SCT.....Spec, Purevenom, Lowflyn etc would be able to give you the best advice on this one since they own a Terminator also.

Re: HP Tuners?

i love my SCT works great, you shouldnt have to mess with the tune at all in the winter for the most part vs summer if your MAF/ fuel injectors/ etc are up to par that is. As it gets colder you will use more fuel with colder charged air. I know on my own car my MAF is close to pegging. You probably have yours ready to go since you have a blower upgrade. Its best to check though.

with my SCT tuner and SCT's software on my netbook. I can in real time see params while driving my car its a nice tool and data logging is easy. Your car already has a custom tune, you should find out what tuner was used and the previous owner should have given it to you as you will have to retune your car to use another tuner if the prev owner doesnt have the tune files used etc etc.

Re: HP Tuners?

Honestly...if the car is tuned correctly you won't have to adjust the tune for changes in weather...

I'm getting mine checked when temperatures get around freezing here, just to make sure.

Re: HP Tuners?

yea if the temp is below 60 here I have to be careful, I need a Mafia to be safer in colder weather, just not done it yet.

Re: HP Tuners?

Ok, that is what i am getting from the car, it is not 100% running in 45 degree weather. Tune might be off just a touch. I will have it re-tuned by Paul's High Performance over by Detroit this coming spring. Just to make sure it is 100% and I have nothing to worry about!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the tips and info! Very informative.
