Linelock... stay or go?

I have a 90 gt and it has been a track car for quite awhile. I had this great idea of making it a dd so now I'm trying to figure out what's practical and what's overkill, without taking away my fun. There's no rear seats just two buckets, hand throttle for staging which I'm in the process of removing, fats with skinny's give it a mean stance and then push button linelock. Is the line lock to much for a daily driver, because its a lot of fun at a red light when a honda pulls up bouncing off the rev limiter. Or just a waste, you don't preheat on the way to work...

Re: Linelock... stay or go?

I'd like a line lock myself.

Re: Linelock... stay or go?

Yah definitely keep it...it's not overkill, there are a lot of street cars out there with them.

That's all I needed to hear, it stays. Haha, It is hard not to tear up my good tires though seeing as the slicks are hardly ever on it.

SLP...had issues with it leaking and just haven't tackled it again. Wires are ran to the traction control button...I like being sneaky. Debating going with another kit since this one decided to leak from the get-go.

Street tires stay on the car, but a line-lock would be very nice for those few track outings a year.

Yeh I ran mine to a push button in the center console where the cigarette lighter is so it can be covered with the little lid
