Left Lane Drivers

I was on my way to work this morning and came upon a pretty 2011 mustang. After a minute or two of following it, the only thing i could think of was, I hate people who drive in the left lane. Some old lady with nothing better to do than wake up early and go for coffee and doughnuts. The same lady that is going somewhere on the right side of the road but takes the left lane the entire way there. I didn't notice how good the car looked, or what the vanity plate said. Needless to say my windows were quite foggy by the time I got to work from all of the steam coming out of my ears. Sorry I just had to vent.

Re: Left Lane Drivers

I do agree left lane people can be annoying

My only issue is if I am in the left lane and I am moving faster than those in the right lane (passing who ever is in the right lane) and someone decides to ride my ***.. they can kiss my *** as long as I am doing the speed limit (which technically is as fast as you "can" go)

I find myself yelling at my windshield when they are under the speed limit. Nothing makes me madder.

Anyone that has been in my passenger seat while driving on the interstate has witnessed many tirades.

Same here. But I'm pretty sure every body in the limits of St Louis does that, so I'm pissed off anytime I behind the wheel.

I think that is what i hate the most about the whole situation. When they pace with the person in the right lane. I can deal with going the speed limit. That is just fine but I should get to choose. My speed should not be determined by some grandma in her old beat up Buick in the left lane and a semi-truck in the right lane.

That is seriouslly the worse... when its like a full right lane and only one slow car in the left stopping you from the open highway. I just wait for the gap on the right and shoot it.

Absolutely! If they're not going to get out of the left lane, then I have no problem passing them on the right. Unless they work in law enforcement, nobody appointed them to act as a rolling road block.

I agree some dickhead can't wait 3 minutes for you to get around the car that should be in the right lane. My favorite is when he shoot's over 4 lanes and weaves through traffic to try and get in front of you, only to find that it's not you causing the problem.

Yes I completely agree. The way I drive I shouldn't have to use the left lane. I travel the speed appropriate for the center lane unfortunately people think it's their god given right to be in the left lane.

I have that tirade at least once a week. I don't have many passengers left that want to ride with me.

I never have a problem passing police cars if they are going slow. Just because they aren't doing the speed limit why should I go as slow as them. I got places to go and people to see.

Oh, belive me I've passed many a patrol car that wasn't doing the speed limit. That's not the issue. I was more refering to those who are doing say 75 in a 55 but won't yield to someone who wants to go faster.

A friend of mine actually had his license plate made to say "EVOOOM" so in the rear view of the car in front it says MOOOVE.

Re: Left Lane Drivers

Great idea for a plate. Unfortunately here in the great state of South Carolina the front of the car is not required by law so nobody seems to have them. Even one as fun as that. Ha what a great idea.

I always pass cops. I gate when everyone slows down under the speed limit for a cop.

I have a few tirades myself. I hate hate hate stupid drivers. Hate. One more for the record.

That has happened to me too Tiger! Only one time though. It was a state trooper and I was in traffic behind her. As soon as I passed her, the lights went on. I used to drive with my parking lights on because you couldn't tell my taillights were tinted because it was so translucent. As of a couple days ago I have stock tails again.

lol.. Esp out here..

My sister is Korean.. She flew out (from NJ) to visit me here on vacation..

I loaned her my car and I told her to watch out for asian drivers..

She got offended initially, then I told her Okay, watch for a car that does something stupid. Then check the driver, 9 times out of 10 it'll be an asian driver of some sort

3 days later when she returned my car.. She told me I was right

Re: Left Lane Drivers

If it has plates from Ohio, you can count on the driver not knowing where they are going or what they are looking for. They are drifting between lanes, doing a whopping 10 mph. It should be legal to push these people off the road and right into oncoming traffic. (no offense to those of you from Ohio)

Haha you guys got a ton down there. I got thanked by a lady once for having a Georgia Drivers license. She told me all she had seen is Ohio, Indiana and Michigan DL's.

Re: Left Lane Drivers

I have one for youz, too frequently I'll be driving on the Southern State Pkwy traffic will be backed up, as I come to a curve in the road I like to look ahead and see what's the hold up...well, to my surprise (not really) in the right, middle and left lane you have three cars pacing each other!!! Meanwhile, there is nobody ahead of them for a good solid mile!!! I tell you, when I get the chance I cut the S.O.B. off coming within at least 3inches of my rear bumper next to their front bumper! No joke, I drive my car like I stole it! If I were rich I'd slam my car into theirs and just get myself a new ride everytime.
