Powerstop Brakes

Hey I was just wondering if anybody has ever used Powerstop brakes on your Stang. I saw a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors that were paired up with some ceramic pads for $276.39 w free shipping on autopartswarehouse.com
They look real nice and are pretty inexpensive. Thanks for the input!!

Ya I'm just looking for some inexpensive "good" brakes. For 1- i'm on a budget and 2- i need them for everyday driving, and somewhat spirited driving every now and then. I won't be going to the track or anything, so I don't need super performance ones. I just need some kinda soon bc my rotors are warped and make my steering wheel shake really bad when I'm stopping.

Thanks 4 the tip!

I have them! I got the Rotors, & preloaded Power Stop Calipers and they fit perfect. They do not rust. Work much better. I love them, I got a killer deal on all of the parts too on e-bay. One year now and they are flawless so far.
Just FYI: Vintage Venom has 14" front rotors that just bolt on. Fits 17 & 18 inch wheels. Comes with massive Brembo calipers too.

Re: Powerstop Brakes

If you go to my Garage, I posted what they look like on my car. "My Garage" only has that one picture to make it easy.
Let me know if it helped.

Re: Powerstop Brakes

be careful on rotor brands, some are very cheap and warp very quickly. I am not sure on powerstop, but I know Brembo is a good brand (OEM on many cars)

Re: Powerstop Brakes

Also, becareful using drilled rotors as they tend to crack often.

That's great that you haven't experienced problems, but we're just stating the facts. Drilled rotors are notorious for cracking.
