Problem w/Pacesetter longtube headers!

Braddahz howzit! Ever had an installation clearance problem
with Pacestter's longtube headers? Now this is for the 5.0ho 302 small blk. windsor.Header fits fine on the left bank just a little clearance issue at the collector rubbing against shifter
selector lever. Can't shift out of Park gear.So I'll have to work on that.Next issue is the right bank,This side is a pain because of the fact of having to free engine from it's mounts. This is required to gain clearance to muscle header
from underneath to install and bolt it in.One problem,No
clearance at bell housing and starter motor,This prevents header to sit flush w/right side head to complete install. Guys? Gals? Anybody plz help! Your input all appreciated.
Mahalo from Maui,Hawaii. O! and I presented this issue to
Pacesetter themselves and guess what? They sent me another right side header and it's the same one and they
say it fits their engine model they use to test fit these headers when they make it. So plz help fabricators etc.

Shifting into Park.. So you have an automatic? I've seen fitment issues on automatics as the bell housings have different shapes/ etc - I'll let someone chime in that has more experience with these!

WOW! Only 1 posting? Only 1 brother tried to help,Really? No one else has encountered this? Out of 147 views to this posting only one guy gave it a shot.Well I be damned,I gguess I must've really messed up this time.Almost five hundred US dollars bites the dust.I know I should've been patient and save a little more money to get the BBK longtubes. The bending is different on the RS header. So nobody has encountered such clearance issues than w/the rs longtube header made by pacesetter for a 1994 5.0HO?

Well dude the only advice I can think of at the moment is to go custom.Try calling around in ur area of custom exhaust shops if they can make you an X-pipe custom for ur '99GT,
it won't be cheap though I believe so go check it out bud. Hope this helps and Happy Holiday's to you!

I was excited to see somebody replied to my header question
till I read it! Damn,Stmpede just made my day.Mahalo anyways dude it was helpful input. Now I know just how my impatience has gotten me into trouble again costing me over
4 benjamins this includes the matching mid X-pipe for those
dang headers.Anyone know what else these would fit that houses the 5.0HO? Does the foxbody have a smaller bellhousing & starter than a '94 AODE trans? Any new direction to sell these headers and matching x-pipe would be greatly appreciated.I doubted if Pacesetter or Arizona race place will indeed take these back in exchange for the shortie version and midpipe. Mahalo again! Dean

Call Pacesetter and see if they will refund you? Or the company you went through for the purchase as the parts don't fit.
