New member, but been reading for a while.
I am looking to get hold of a '05 V6 (because the GT will be too expensive for our car registration system) I can export to Norway.
A V6 costing $10k will have a total price of about $45-50k after registration here is paid + shipping and taxes, a V8 will be about $15-20k more, which will be too much.
What are my chances of finding a "mint" condition car with leather interior and no previous accidents (really important that it does not have a salvage title) for maximum $10k online, then fly over to check it out? I have checked out cars.com, autotrader and eBay, and some look good enough, but it seems as though there are very few around in the same areas (want to be able to choose between a few, since its a long flight.).
Any other places to look online?
It doesnt matter where in the US, but somewhere on the south east coast would be preferred (Texas, nj, fl, nc, ++).
Ive been to the states 2 times for a total of 5 weeks on holiday in 2009, and I remember seeing alot more cars for sale when driving around, though it doesnt seem as most cars are put online?
Thanks for any tips!
