Don't worry. I won't be stupid about it. If it looks too dangerous I won't do it and if I see a car I'll let him win it's not that big of a deal. I know my Stan is better than his ricer anyway.

I won. Be stupid about it. I'm a very cautious person. If it gets or looks dangerous I will drop out or not do it at all. I'll drive the course before the race to make sure there isn't anything in the way. If there is then I'll cancel. I know my car is faster and better than his ricer anyway so a win isn't too big of a deal

I wasn't. Some are hood enough drivers that they can race outside of a track. Some may not have a track close to them. I agree with you.

That's good man, the whole point is to win, if you're dead you can't win anything right? Lol

Rubbin' is racin'

jk

Everyone has done it...even if its just racing from a stop light to a stop light....I'll do it in anything...nothing like revving up a beat up 98' taurus at a corvette! haha.

just be safe man, no1 wants to see anyone get hurt.

I was raised with street racers. Muscle cars were started because of street racing in Detroit. There are a couple types though. Private road or empty road at least with a few extra people there just in case. Or. Meet up with someone at a red light and go at it in the middle of the city( not as cool). Don't advise 60mph punch off on the freeway. 160 or so is way to fast. Most street racers are only going to get to about 110/120 tops and most don't even get there. I'm gonna keep racing. Track and street. Just not in traffic.

That's how you get a gear head to show emotion. Stop bashing gm though. If the camaro and vette weren't around, the mustang would have never survived. The rivalry is a beautiful thing.

I love the mustang but I love any cool car. I don't care what brand. If it's cool, you gotta give it props. I think that the new challenger is the best looking American car made right now. I wouldn't own one because I've worked for chrysler. Junk. If there was a bowtie in front of that thing, I might own one right now. If the new camaro had a few less curves and a blower, I might own one of those too. I'll stick with my terminator because IMO there's nothing out there to compare with it. Except that gtr. That is a bad SOB.

Yea. I wouldn't go for the bowtie, but the challenger looks good.

Those are great cars. Can't take anything away from them. I was a gm technician for about 9 years. They are built great. Don't like driving them. They just don't feel right.

Not cool at all. I'm a purist when it comes to a certain brand engine going into a certain brand car. Even a Chevy with a Ford engine disgusts me. And I'm about as anti-GM as it gets!

I'm not biased. Tell you the truth my 96 and 95 impalla ss were the best damn riding cars I ever had. I would rather take a road trip in one of those over anything. I still plan on getting another one just to have. Other than the mustang and maybe a few trucks(lightning), ford has put out a bunch of crap since the 80's. IMO

I have to agree. My 99 chevy 4x4 is unstoppable. I have the shift lever in the floor not that push button crap. I bought it in 01 with 15k on it. I have used amsoil faithfully in it since I bought it and have had to replace the fuel pump and front bearing. I have well over 250k on it now. And they were not easy miles. It is impossible to get this truck stuck. I am also a mustang lover. The best bang for buck car built and the new edge is such a hot car. Right out of the box most people cannot outdrive the car. I am just on the ragged edge of needing a tighter suspension. I did instal lcas to get a better dig off the line but that's it. Absolutely amazing cars. Hmmmmmmm love
