When you pop the hood it will look cool, or you could spend that money on stuff I'm sure would do you much better. What condition is you mustang in? Are your brakes good? Suspension? Plugs good? See where I'm going here? If you can sit back an say that your stang is in tip top shape maintenance wise, then blow the money on the cai and move on.

Yah it's all pretty good except for battery cables I need to change soon. The things are cheap. I do need some new window tiny too. Some a$$hole tried to break into it with a crowbar and broke passenger seal and scratched both window tinting.

Joshy....this is the best advice you have gotten so far. Concentrate on getting it in tip top running shape. Then focus on the performance mods. That means if you have a cel,get it fixed. When your cel is on and it's am o2 sensor toast you ecu will go into limp or safe mode and dump mote fuel than needed so it doesn't go lean and melt something. Like a piston. And if your dumping that much fuel in your plugs will foul very quickly.

Do what you need to do, but get some pictures of your car up. At least for me I would like to see what you are working with.

Hey black on black. What year is your car and where did you get that hood. No scoop...99 and 00 had inny scoops and 01-04 had an outty...yours is neither

Re: Question

The turbo itself doesn't whistle. That's the blowoff valve you are hearing when excess pressure is being released from the intake tract as to not cause the turbine in the turbo to spin backwards. Not rice by any means.
The sound of the turbo spooling is more of a whoooosh sound. Whipple supercharges just plain scream though!

But a whistle to sound like a Blow off valve is rice. I had an 05 srt4 and the valve sounded like most cai's, nothing wrong with boost of any kind, but there is something wrong with trying to make it seem like you are boosted if you are in fact not

Re: Question

Nope. Shelbie was going to buy a V6 and it had the same scoop as you have Everett. I'll find a pic.
I've seen several around here with them.

The outty is the same but the scoop raises over the hood height. Not flush like mine. 93 is gonna save us and find an outty
