Re: 2008 Black Bullitt at local dealership... hmmm...

not really any more special than a regular GT for the most part, my main issue is the color BLACK... horrible daily driver color. The price is DAMN high... WAY WAY high. There is a 2011 GT (base options) for 26k at a local dealership... and it will finance better.

I thought the bullitt only came in that dark green color. If it's black it's not original or it's been painted. The bullitt is straight up fine though. Reg gt but trimmed really nice and special edition.

In 2001 they came in true blue, black or dark highland green. In 2008 they came in black or dark highland green.

Thanks for the input!! I thought it was a bit high too, Spec. The salesman emails me any used inventory that is v8 5 speed that they get in.

I thought they only came in dark green as well. They sold the '05 vert I was looking at. That one was only $16k with same mileage.

I should probably keep looking.

05-10 GTs are taking a BIG hit or will soon with the 2011 out so keep looking and waiting for a nice low mileage clean one to appear

Good point! I'm not rushing into anything but I might need some opinions here and there when I find some that I'm interested in. Thanks!

I love my new edge but I'm definitely looking for a V8 with low miles. I don't want to settle. I want a Cobra but like you said financing would be hard.

You are right about black! My first 01 was
Black and I lived on a dirt road.

a used 2011 gt sounds like just what you need a bit down the road when they are around 20-25k

That would be awesome. My best friend has an '05 black GT and another has an '06 white. I would have to get grabber blue if I waited. That us not too bad if an idea.

Re: 2008 Black Bullitt at local dealership... hmmm...

Yah the Bullitts are cool but I think they made too many of them in the S197 body style to hold exclusivity and for the price you can get a much faster and sexier car imo.

But if you really like the car go check it out, don't let us deter you, it will be YOUR car, not ours , either way keep us updated!
