Well she's gone

He came and picked her up today. Got 6k cash and a little truck out of the deal to commute in. Sold the bmw the day before to a friend who needed a car bad. Ended up making out on the mustang with trade about 8500-9000. So it was very close the the bmw put another 1500 in my pocket.

I hated letting her go, but the guy has owned multiple mustangs so I at least know it went to a good home.

Still sucks, but oh well....responsibility is a *****

Re: Well she's gone

i'm on the verge of getting laid off, so instead of buying my new 5.0 i'm putting it off until later....and by later i mean i'm actually looking into a ford edge now, something more practical, especially if i want a family at any point in the new few years

responsibility is a *****, but its what keeps food on the table and a roof over your head

Re: Well she's gone

Thanks everyone! I definitely want one, but figuring out what i want is a tough one. I love the sn95 and new edge. Which I've had both, but I've never had a fox and wouldn't mind one, but at the same time I'd love a termi or a new 5.0! Damn to many mustangs and not enough money lol.

Oh no guys but responsibility takes the cake. Sorry to hear about your job, Nicole! I was there not too Long ago. Still could be, too...

And I hate seeing them drive off but soon you'll have another! And you're right about too many mustangs and not enough money!

Ugh, we have a horrible company merge going. Work is not the same after they laid off more than half our company and doubled the work. I feel ya. Hang in there!

as long as what you do is the right thing and you know it is then you just have to be happy with that and say you can own one down the road again

Thought about getting out of the military and doing some kind of contract work like Triple Canopy or something. You wouldn't happen to know how time in service and pay grade would transfer over from DoD to homeland security would you? lol

contract work is more lucrative by faaaar ... and tax free if your workn over seas (is wut i hear) like security work in afgahnistan or iraq....but a hell of alot more dangerous. however, taken small arms fire a few times a month isnt my idea of a good time, ill fill out an accident report any day outa the week instead of that. sum guys dont mind making "frequent contact" though.... security work is "good times"...lol.

I get shot at least once a week so its all good. I'm about to be 22, recently "un"engaged lol and love every min of my job. Nothing like knowing you've got the power of a dropping a couple 2,000 lbs bombs a few k's away with a short phrase known as "Cleared Hot!" lol. BUT I do wanna do something else eventually.

Started talking to a secret service recruiter ( Website if you guys are interested ) and looking into the special agent field. And yes overseas is tax free, at least for DoD it is.
