Ceramic headers for v6

Are ceramic headers a good way to go for a v6? I have a 2000 model. I heard ceramic headers keep an engine cooler. And great with hp. Saw these on AmericanMuscle.com

Re: Ceramic headers for v6

yes they do keep under hood temps down !!
are they long tube or shorties ?
I put shorties on my 4.0 after reading many posts that it was a waste of time and they made a very noticeable improvement !!!

Re: Ceramic headers for v6

for the 3.8L engine you wont gain any hp/tq worth mentioning with shorties so its not really worth the effort.
