Mil eliminators....

I'm getting dual exhaust on my v6 mustang. Offside x pipe true dual exhaust. I didn't order mil eliminators yet. But I will. Will it be safe to drive my car without those mil eliminators for a week?

Re: Mil eliminators....

yea the CEL will be one but many drive around with them on like that all the time. If you have a tune or plan to get one you can get them turned off via the tune instead of having to buy the MIL eliminators as well.

What if I get eliminators for now until all my upgrades and get a tuner if I have both a tuner and eliminators, will that harm anything?

If you want to pass emissions you will need the mil eliminators . A programer or tune will turn it off but it will never set all of the mil you need to pass with out them.
