Re: Lost my mustang in a fire!!!:(:(

Thanks everyone! I talked to the people that has the other mustang and going to look at it Wednesday. Also talked to my friend that the ranger was still in his name and he's going to file a claim against my insureance to cover the ranger and give me the money. I don't think its fraud since it is still acually his, he was just giving it back to me as a gift. and I don't care if my insurance goes up or not.

Yeah tell me about it... alot of unreplaceable snap-on collector tools and the snap-on scan tool that was $12,000 alone. Most of the other tools I can still use until they break and then get them replaced.

12K in Snap-On tools, two great Fords and your garage! Damn man I feel like crying for you. I'm so sorry. I honestly wouldn't know what to do or replace first. Good luck with getting a new stang and I hope everything works out ok.

I am really sorry that you have had to go through all of this. Thank God you are all right. I hope things come back to you ten fold and you get behind the wheel of another Mustang under a new garage soon.
Take Care-

Re: Lost my mustang in a fire!!!:(:(

Well spoke with the insurance rep and it isn't good. They are going to pay the fire department their money and give me half of blue book value for the stang but won't cover anything else in the garage. With only comprehensive on the stang and a $500 deductible I'm getting a whopping $1250 dollars for my stang. I might be able to put a down payment on a stang at a used car lot? IDK?

I've read my policy several times and it states that it won't cover the stuff unless I had actually drove and crashed the car then it burned up. Also it won't cover the ranger at all, which really sucks. Well I guess I'll be making a truck bed trailer out of it. Oh well!!, It will take me a little bit but I'll bounce back and this time I know to do things a little different. LESSON LEARNED!!!

Well if there was a chance at it being fraud you don't want to give an insurance company any reason to deny your claim. If your farts don't smell right the will exclude you. Just saying

Too far away. If the one on craigslist falls threw then I seen a 99 v6 at a car lot for $2000 cash that was wrecked but fixed just needs paint. Might go look at it.

Its not coverd anyway, kind of screwed there. They told my friend that the only way to get any money was he would have to sue me not them, and he won't do that.
