I'm thinking about buying a Vespa as my commute to work is very short.

Your lucky. I drive 17 to school and 16 to work all highway. This whole gas thing is eating up my wallet. Just have to adjust the budget for now.

Re: gas prices!

My gas was really cheap when I sold cars at the dealership. We had demo cars, and I would but the manager $10 worth of lottery tickets and he would write me a $20 gas ticket.

My Dad has a company car as well which is nice. He takes good care of it. His company wont pay for car washes period. Not even to take a customer out. He's just expected to keep it reasonably clean at all times.

Re: gas prices!

Just filled the focus up for 3.359 a gallon. Actually had a 5 cent discount so it was 3.309.

Got 33.5 mpg last weekend, just got 30.9 this tank. Costs us about 9 cents a mile to drive the car. 60 mile commute every day...it helps.

Re: gas prices!

3/3/11 - Central PA big range from station to station. I saw anywhere from 3.279 to 3.499 for regular.

What I thought was funny is I saw more people at the exxon station for 3.499 than I did at the sunoco across the street for 3.279. Idiots.

Re: gas prices!

3.31 here. thank God my Explorer gets decent mileage because paying almost $70 bucks to fill up is not a good feeling. the stang is sitting more and more lately. 20 bucks won't even get me half a tank nowadays. i remember when i first got my car it would cost about $22 for a fill up.

We need to get off oil for things like power. That's just my silly opinion though.

Your absolutely right. The Arabs charge us out the *** cause we use it for everything. Natural gas everywhere would drop demand therefore making it cost less. Ethanol is a joke. If it wasn't for government subsidies it wouldn't even be viable economically. What would really lower demand is vast mass transit. Like those trains in Europe. Little things would add up however we would have to totally re-vamp our way of life as far as transportation goes.

And all you guys who are *****ing about fuel at 3.69 or whatever it is up here in the great white north we are at 1.25 a liter which translates to 5.00 a gallon. Stop whining cause it's gonna get worse before it gets better. I thought when America invaded Iraq it was gonna make gas cheaper. I suggest invading all of the middle east and hijacking all the oil. Gas prices will go way down if you are stealing. **** OPEC
