2010 or 2011 mustang

Hello
I need help with this decision. I can either get a 2010 v6 mustang with leather seats and glass roof which is used and has 20k on it but looks brand new for $17000.
Or I can go with second option which is a 2011 v6 with leather seats and brand new for $23000.
Which one shd I get? Any advise will be helpful.
Thanks

Id go with the 2011. The new v6 is soooo much better than the old, and it is brand new, instead of used. Seems worth the $6k to me.

2011 is FAR SUPERIOR the 3.7L has 305 hp vs the 4.0L's 210 or so~.... dont buy the 2010... plus the 3.7 gets FAR better mileage (31 highway)

Re: 2010 or 2011 mustang

From what I've been reading the 2011/12 have been getting 29 plus on mileage. At $4 to $5 per gal, how much gas can you buy for the $6K differance? Not to mension you will have a shiny new car with 305 hp not 230/250? Don't forget the 6spd trans.
Just my $.02

The engine is by far the biggest difference.

Well Its not all lost, in 18 months you should be able to find a good selection of used 2011 V6 mustangs.

You can always slap a vortec on it and get about 375 to 400 at the crank

Re: 2010 or 2011 mustang

If you need it now try to see if you can find a used 2011 V6...around here there have been several cases of people going out buying a new 2011 and then finding out they can't really pay for it....I'd just try everything before buying a 2010

I say neither !! V6's are for sissies !!!!!! Buy a 2008 or 2009 GT for the same money. Nothing worst than saying you drive a V6 muscle car.... I'm just saying I couldn't do it.

The 2010 one because if you buy the 2011 which is new you'll be waisting money because once you drive it off the lot it loses thousands of dollars. I normally by used anyways though so it may be a little biased.

Ok I had to delete a post. Let's refrain from name calling, please.

I'm happy with my 2004 V6 and I know it's not fast per se, but I'm proud of the work that I have put into it.

Same here, I love my V6. Its not the fastest but it can still smoke some hondas and thats all that matters.

Also you do relized he already bought the 2011.

To keep this thread on topic and away from the childish banter. The price tag is the first consideration of course. If your ok with paying extra my personal choice would be the new one. Number one it's new and you don't have to worry about previous maintenance and owner care. Number two more power. Number three you can upgrade the exhaust an make it sound better but maintain the gas mileage. In short 2011 if you don't mind the extra 60 a month on the payment.
