Our 90 vert is probably the closest thing to a death trap I've ever been in. At 70-80 on the interstate it is just uncomfortable. I think I've had the speedo around 100 once or twice but never for more than just a second.

Must be a difference in handling between a 5.0 and the 2.3. I've had mine 85+ and it felt just fine

Wow. I've got mine up to 103 one time. I've done 90-95 a few times. It has no issues with going that fast which scares the crap out of me. Like the other day when I came up on a cop doing 83. Thank-god he had someone already.

iv hit 100+ multiple times. fastest was 115~118. its really dumb though. i try not to speed much, but every once in a while i floor it  | |

I've gone 125 in my GT, however just the other day my dad drove me 156 in his brand new Boss. Hahahah that thing will glue you to your seat!
Oh and it was on a track.

I might have hit 80 once to pass someone... Then passed a speed trap less than a mile later. Been seeing quite a few people being pulled over in NJ lately. Last thing I need is a major speeding ticket...

When stationed in Germany I got up to 147 in my 97GT. It was stock and started to get unstable. I did 130Mph all day long but did have different gears put in so I could do so. Lost a lot of 0-60 speed but was able to cruise on the autobahn fine. Did a few other mods but gears made the most difference. Still had torque to blast almost everything going up hill. However, coming down or on the straits were a different matter and the locals would signify their displeasure at being smoked going up hill by blowing my doors off going down.
