Re: Gas???

if it is not tuned to use premium octane there is no use in running anything but regular grade

In America sure but here in Canada they don't pollute premium with ethanol. It's pure gasoline

Re: Gas???

Read your manual, a stock tune is designed to run on regular. If your using higher than regular your wasting money unless it's tunes for a higher grade.

I think 10% is a little steep. Closer to 5%.

If your vehicle is not designed to run on it (i.e. all mustangs) then you will do much more harm than good. It takes more pump, more injector, and a good tune to run E85 in any Mustang.

With all that said, there is no harm in running 87 octane in your GT, that's what it is designed to run on.
