It was the concept for 2010 when they changed the body style of the s197.

My wife and I have been married about 14 years, it's both of ours second marriage. We drove a Mark VII and a Astro cargo van, for the first couple years we were together, then sold the Lincoln and bought an almost new 99 GT, laser red, fully optioned. Then we bought a screaming yellow 05 GT when they came out. I drove the 05 and Eileen drove the 99. A tornado totaled the 99 so we found another 05 GT nearby, white with blue stripes... So I drove the yellow one, and she got the white one. Then when the 2011's came out, I thought I needed one, but the price scared me. Then I found the 07 Roush which I thought we could afford. Problem was, I wanted to trade in the white car, for a few reasons... It was worth more because it had more options, it had more, harder miles on it than the yellow one, and it was having some intermittent electrical glitches. I was lucky that my wife was understanding and let me trade her car in on the Roush. The plus side is she came to find out that she likes the yellow car better than her white one!

Between the two of us, my wife and I have owned 11 Mustangs over the years... But the cars we drive now are by far the nicest... I am a lucky man, and not because of what I drive, but rather because of the woman that accepted me as her husband. Life is good... Oh, and the Roush is nice too...

You have a couple real nice ones. I think for body style the 2005-2009 are the best looking.

I think the 05-09 are the best looking too, we've had three of them!

That's sweet! Its great when you have a spouse that you can share the love of a Ford Mustang. I grew up loving them. My first one was a 78 Mustang II. I had so many problems with it and being a teenager I couldn't afford to put money in it so I sold it. I met my now husband 8 years ago and found he loves Mustangs also and had own 2 before. So maybe 4 years ago or so I felt bad, he had Mustang hats, shirts and collected hot wheels or whatever brand of Mustang. So I told him he should find one so he found a 91 LX vert. We had that for 2 years but it needed to much work that we couldn't afford so being the loving wife and fellow Mustang enthusiast I gave into him getting a newer one and selling the LX. Thats how we ended up with our 02. But I still find myself being alittle jealous when he says, his Mustang. He does try to correct himself but I know, it's his. But one day I'll have one of my own. Until then he's just going to have to share, lol.

Your making me feel guilty... I wasn't good at sharing the screaming yellow 05... But she did have the 99...

Having a spouse who shares this pony addiction is a wonderful thing....
