Burning alot of gas - Mustang Evolution

Burning alot of gas

What might be my problem??..im burning an extremely high amount of gas, im at 72 miles and im already past half a tank wirhout even gettin on it. I dont smell any gas or anything!!

Do you have a cel on. If your o2 sensors are shot it will burn more than usual

Good point. And wires...is it a 4.6 or a 5.0. If it's a 5.0. Distributor cap and rotor may have had it. If it's a 4.6 you may have a bad coil pack but I would think it would thro a cel. I dunno I guess start with the cheapest part

ok i have a 04 gt 4.6 with 41800 miles on it...just got it last year and havent changed the plugs or wires since i got it and i doubt they were changed before i got since it has such low mileage.
