acceleration hesitation

I have the new 2011 5.0. I noticed a hesitation in the acceleration when im aggressive on the throttle. I have heard it mentioned in chating about the tunes and or cold air intake. Is this normal and is this the issue that is taken care of when a tune is downloaded or cold air intake is installed?

Re: acceleration hesitation

I know that the Tuner made a big difference on my 4.0 with stick shift, got rid of the throttle lag and really woke the car up. I hear on the automatics it makes even more difference.

I've hear of a lot of people with this issue since the "drive-by-wire" came out. I don't know if the CAI alone with take care of it.... but I know that a tune should.
