Question First Mustang

What was your first Mustang? What type do you recommend I should get when I turn 16?

when ur 16.. i recommend a 96-10GT or 11+ V6

Re: First Mustang

It all depends on what kind of driver you are...while nobody even at age 50 can resist turning loose the power of a V8 they can usually handle it...at 16 I got the Cobra but I had and still do have a huge respect for the power mustangs have...honestly a young driver shouldn't get a very powerful vehicle and my parents were crazy to trust me as much as they did....I'd say it all depends on what kind of driver you are...stick to a V6 unless you are a good driver and can be responsible with a V8

Yes...regardless of what you get you'll want more...Brent I believe it was had a very good comment on it....no matter what you get horsepower is horsepower and once you get used to what you have you'll always want more!

Re: First Mustang

Dude I'm 18. I bought myself a 95 V6 for my first mustang. I love it! I do love the V8's but I still love my V6 because of the torque. It is great. For your first car stick with a 95 to 10 V6. It will be all you need for the time being. Quickly though you will want more.

Re: First Mustang

it depends on if you are buying it, if you are getting help, if you are required to get something at a given safety level and other such things~ just personal tastes I would recommend an 11 V6

Re: First Mustang

1992 2.3L four cylinder. I would recommend them to no one. They are dangerously slow. A '99-'04 V6 is a good starter car in my opinion.
