MGW shifter

Anybody running a MGW ltd shifter in their Mustang? Thinking about getting one of those shifters. Wanted to know how much of a short throw they have than the stock shifter.

I think it's pretty adjustable. Any will be better than stock. It's supposed to be everyones favorite.

I have heard nothing but good things about those shifters. If that's how your leaning just buy it. The car will shift night and day different. I have a tri-ax and I heard they are even better. And honestly it makes the 2nd to 3rd shift perfect every time. Make the slushbox tranny very drivable

Re: MGW shifter

I had the tri-ax in my 2000 GT and liked it. I put one in my cobra and hated it. I now have an MGW in the cobra and love it.

Re: MGW shifter

I've used the Tri-Ax in a few different cars and have a preference depending on transmissions

T45 - Tri-Ax
T3650 - Pro 5.0
T56 - MGW

Re: MGW shifter

mgw is best at angle of reach and the best build quality (nearly no noise travels though as it does with steeda etc). The handle can be rotated 360 degrees for a better reach BY FAR which is a huge advantage. It has different handles but the average (orange one) is rather short.

Re: MGW shifter

I've had both the MGW and the Pro 5.0 and preferred the Pro 5.0 personally. It had a shorter, more firm feeling throw, especially on the 2-3 shift.

That was the same opinion I had on the Pro 5.0 Selection. Sold gear selection, more so over the competition.
