I have a 2000 v6 stang. I also have an sct tuner. I checked for trouble codes and this showed up.

Clear the code and see if it comes back on.

Is it safe for me to keep mashing the accelerator? I like to run my car to see what it got.

The p1000 is a code to let you know that all of the internal monitors haven't been run yet. The same code will appear when you replace batteries. No big deal dude.
