12v power always on in shaker 500 sync?

I looked for a thread on this and could not find an answer.

I have a '10 Mustang with the Shaker 500 and Sync without nav screen. I power an iPhone off the 12v at the top of the dash and not the USB connection. I have noticed that my power adapter's LED is on at all times even when I leave the car off for a while. I have taken to unplugging the adapter from the dash when I leave the car. I don't want the drain of the LED on the battery. I figure it's just a small power drain but I wanted to ask around here if anyone else noticed this or if it caused a problem for anyone else?

Re: 12v power always on in shaker 500 sync?

Are you talking about the little light on the charger stays on even while the car is off?!?!? I always leave mine on and it doesn't cause problems the only cars I've seen the charger actually turn off is in Toyotas they cut the power to the outlets when the vehicle isn't on but fords(at least the ones I own) let you keep your chargers powered while the vehicle is off...as long as you're not running an AC/DC power converter you're golden bud.

Yes the light on the charger itself. Our other cars are Toyota and MINI and both cut the power. It sounds like I don't have to worry to much about the power draw of the status LED. Thanks.
