5.0 in 2006

Anyone know about putting a 5.0 engine in a 2006 mustang?

it should be doable...ive seen people do it in pre 05 engine bays

Yeah, sounds great, I'd love to do it in my 07, but it's not just the engine that gets changed. You will also have to change the computers and I'm sure a mass other types of things so that the car will function properly for that engine. But, like it was said, with money, you can do just about anything.

I know I know I really like the 05-09 body style.. I really like the new body style as well... Except the taillights and the huge rear emblem.. Something about it just won't grow on me

+1 I hear ya! If I had the funds to put a 5.0 in my 07 GT I'd do it in a heart beat! Sure, I could just get the newer stang, but I just can't get into that body style, it's just not me. The 07 body style, now that's me

Yeah, I've tried but the taillights just kinda ruin it.. I saw a pretty sweet taillight kit to delete them tho check it out
