built b head tecksid vs termi swap way later

Well guys, after finishing a quick and cheap short block swap for a mk viii block (my stock block spun 7 and 8) its time to plan the real build. I'm on a budget as im a Nissan tech and the sole bread winner... I want to build my teksid with modmax rods, and undecided on pistons. King bearing and arp hardware. My heads are good. Cruise it as is for bout another year while I save for a procharger. ORRRRR..... save for a couple years and bust a c head whipple. Obviously a more high dollar build, but I don't see many built b headed 4vs. Sorry for the lengthy post.

There are used eatons on line for dirt cheap. You could start there and upgrade later.

What all would I need to make one work? Are the stock injectors big enough? I'm dropping a 01 cobra motor in my 97. Might throw one of these on there too

Check svtp classifieds. There is always someone selling their eaton after they upgrade.

That would of course involve the c head swap. Anybody know if the continental c heads are compatible with an eaton? There's a s**t ton of them at the local yards.

If you're the sole bread winner and it would take you a good while to do this, I say you save your $$$ and spend it on more important things.

I'm not sure where it's made, but I know quite a few of the mustang crowd are having great luck w/ them. With your setup I'd probably call or e-mail them about a turbo upgrade from the base kit.

Oh so its pretty popular than. I never thought I could afford a turbo set up as the helion is 7k! So even with the base kit itd be more than enough. 500hp is pretty much my goal. Actually to take a out new z06. All with time. Patience is the name of the game for some of us ya know.
