Transforming From 3.8L to 4.6L!?

Hey guys

Need some info

What would I have to do to a 2003 3.8L so that I could drop a 4.6L (99-04) in to it?

Thanks

If I recall correctly when I was thinking about doing the same in my 95 (selling for $1k btw), it's just the k member that needs to be changed. Pull one off one at the junkyard and it should bolt up. Don't know what year your talking though

Don't, it's not worth the money. Why not sell your car and buy a 4.6? Trust me it's very hard to sell a 3.8L convert!! Nobody wants one.

You would need a full donor car, it wouldn't just bolt up. You'd need to do motor mounts transmission drive train radiator and a crap ton of work. it's quiet pricey. I was gunna do it with my 97 v6 with a cobra but than I thought the price would be the same even if I felt like doing most of the labor
