Well the choice is simple then. Try and save for some bullets or get some smalls. Maybe a chin spoiler.

What do you have on it now? If we could see a pic it would help to. Sometimes a little weekend elbow grease and paint can transform your car.

I just have bumper inserts and aftermarket tinted tailights. Stock 15inch rims, no tint

Does a chin spoiler really make that big of difference in looks?

I would get a chin spoiler now and then start saving for wheels and springs. Maybe drop some hints to the family for every upcoming holiday that cash or mustang parts are the only gifts which are wanted.

300 won't get you very far but it's a start. Chin spoiler, rims and springs will give you the mean look.

Do they have tires? 96-04 have a different offset than 05-08.

Re: exterior upgrades??

My 04 Came with the bullit rims, loved the look, then i put the 07 three prong "spinner" center caps on (got them from my aunt, didnt like them on her car) and it changed the look, gave it a more classic look to the car, i personally like the polished 03 Cobra rims, but i do love my bullits. Def get the chin spoiler, its on sale now at AM 79.00 takes a day or two for the spoiler to unfold out of the box, takes some time to install tho, want to make sure everything lines up right before you start to drill. Also look at the Mach1 Grille Delete kit.

Springs, short antenna, axle backs, and tint will give you a nice look and sound. Should be able to do it all for under 500 bucks if you shop around on local ads.
