98 cobra fipk intake benefits?

So I just got an fipk for free when my friend traded in his 01 cobra. So I swapped out the intakes. I know they help the termi guys like crazy. But would I see any gains realistically, I already had the silencer removed on my stock box.

Re: 98 cobra fipk intake benefits?

I have a CAI on my 96, and I had a C&L on my 97 before I put the T-Trim on.

They definitely help, because even the NA 4V's love to breath....especially up top.

I doubt you *feel* any difference, but it probably gave you a few HP. They definitely flow better than the stock setup.

Do you have any other mods?

3.73's, flows, and a weird looking catted xpipe. A few ponies from a free intake, what's not to love! Lol

I would say they help more than the 2v or v6, but I wouldnt expect more than 10rwhp with no tune

That's more than I expected anyway. I was thinking along the lines of 3 or 4.
