As Henry ford said on Excellence

The difference in success or failure can be doing something nearly right... or doing it exactly right - GM do things nearly right

And I'm a woman and I own a V8. Mustangs are not gender specific. Maybe someone just wants a V6.

Obviously not just girls drive v6's, it is just I would assume that most girls drive v6's (not implying that girls can't drive v8's, I know some that do). Mustangs are a great selling car but mustang production would still be turning at high rates even without v6's.

No v6 would price mustangs out of the market for many just like happened with the camaro and product would tank. V8s don't have the profit margin of the sixers and that would slow r&d.

The sixer are needed.

Or maybe because I'd rather not pay $3000 a year to insure a v8? it's only $1800 a year to insure my v6.
