I wanna win a mustang of the month haha but seriously those new body's look mean from the front and the tail lights are slowly growing on me but I still think ford could have let an Americans design them instead of sending blueprints to Japan and letting them do it haha (that's a joke but they really do remind me of like a Honda taillight setup)

You thinking your car on blocks in from of your double wide might disqualify you from winning MOTM?

I bought the car and wasn't a huge fan of the rear because I have never looked at a car as it sits before purchase. I look at a car like it has potential,I've always been that way. When I slapped on the big rear wheels and slammed it.....that's when it changed. They look totally different in person then on the interweb or in pictures. The body design after being dropped looks like it's one with the pavement.

That's pretty sweet I bet it looks great, the taillights are growing on me for sure I just feel like they shouldn't of had too you know what I mean? But makes for an interesting change wonder how theyll set up the newer models. You think they'll ever retro the fastback 70's like the Mach 1's? Think of all the possibilities

Re: Dissapointed in the new mustangs

personally i think that the 99-04 mustang are the right size and look of an american sports car, but i think that in 2005 that the car got way to big, i mean there the size of a mercury sable!? and it doesnt really make sense that they are that big becasue the cars that they tried to recreate from the 60's are the size of the 99-04's so that was a bit odd and still is. i think that the 05-09s are pretty nice looking cars but i think that v6's look like whales from the front. the 10-12's are nice but the tailights were deffinatly weird to me when i first saw them but they dont look bad to me now, i just liked the 99-04's becasue they were just a simple small car but now they are so elabrate looking and such. dont get me wrong, i absolutly love the 05-09's and the 10-12's and im probley going to be driving one of those in a couple of years i jut think that ford should have kept with the 99-04 styling a bit

Re: Dissapointed in the new mustangs

What if we all wore our jeans and shirts from 99 (1st year of the new edge) and used big bluky phones that couldn't take pictures or didn't have interweb service on them......that would be real cool.

Nothing we can do about evolution except keep the older cars looking and running new so we can still enjoy their beauty. I love the new edge and still want to own a Termi one day but the interior in them just turns me away after the 05-09 and now the 2011 and up. For me.....when I get in the car of my choice and it's clean, runs and drives great I just can't wipe the smile off my face. I will some day get the olds back out of the garage and re-live 1984.

Just think of how all the fox body lovers felt when they changed the body in 94.
